The three days celebration of 101th birth anniversary of profound industrialist and founder of Arya Samaj Chd. Road, Mahatma Satyanand Ji Munjal, started on 22 May 2018 at BCM School Chd. Road, Ludhiana with great fervor and zest. More than 4000 students remembered the great personaby partaking in auspicious Hawan Ceremony and Morning Assembly which rented the air with divinity and soulfulness. The musical extravaganza “Our Alma Mater is a place to worship” was aligned with the profound vision of AryaSamaj to the fulfillment of makingour educational institute a temple of education. In Hawan all the students took the pledge to imbibe the ten Rules of Arya Samaj in their life and they also promised to propagate the teachings of AryaSamaj to do good to the society. Various inter - school activities like Portrait Making & Greeting Card Making activities were apt for the occasion as the students got the opportunity to learn about his life and philanthropicvision. The young BCMites of class VI formed anenormous ‘OM’ in the school playground that was a different and unique way to pay tribute to the great visionary.Samriti of Class 7th shared “We are grateful to Mahatma Jifor his principles and we promise that we will not leave any stone unturned to take our school to the zenith of success.”.

The legendary industrialist and devoted Arya Samajist Mahatma Satyanand Ji Munjal was fondly & reverently remembered by the students and staff of BCM School Chandigarh Roadon his 101st Birth Anniversary. The commemorative celebrations commenced on 22 May with a plethora of activities like making of portraits/greeting cards and reciting golden rules of Arya Samaj. Entrancing creations by students were put up on display in an exhibition to relive the treasured memories of Mahatma Ji. A Power Point Presentation about life of Mahatma Ji and a skit showcasing ‘His’ mantra of life ‘Simple Living High Thinking’ were presented by the students. The most becoming moments were chanting of Vedic mantras and bhajansby thousands of students in unison during the pious havan ceremony. A vertical garden, dedicated to sacred memories of Mahatma Ji, was also inaugurated in the school campus by the Principal Mr. D.P.Guleriawherein students planted wide-ranging saplings like Croton, Coleus, Sparrow Grass, Begonia, Geranium, Mini Chandani, DhoopKhidi etc.
