The Bahadur Chand Munjal Charitable Trust was established in 1970 by the visionary entrepreneurs and philanthropist - Mahatma Satyanand Munjal, Shri Brij Mohan Lall Munjal, Shri O.P. Munjal and Shri Vijay Munjal -sons of the late Lala Bahadur Chand Munjal. The Foundation was was founded with the core objective of providing liberal, scientific and technical education through the establishment of schools and educational institutions, as well as awarding s/scholarships to deserving students.
The revered trustees of the BCM Foundation recognized the transformative power of education. They believed that intellectual, technical and - most importantly - social education would help develop the essential traits required for national progress .For the trustees, education was the key to enlightment and the primary means of securing a respectable standard of living for the Indian people.
In the year 2000, the trust was officially renamed the Bahadur Chand Munjal Foundation. Today, under the exceptional wisdom and leadership of its current trustees, the Foundation manages the following institutions:
